Holiday Traditions

Dear Friend,

Merry & Bright. Each of us anticipates the holiday season in unique ways. Traditions passed down for generations serve to make new memories with those we love. For families in the tender care of YWCA’s domestic violence, childcare and counseling programs, holidays are a challenging time.

Unhealthy relationships and family dynamics include conflicts and trauma many of us cannot imagine. If it were not for the consistent delivery of advocacy, resources, and support from YWCA’s team of staff and volunteers, many needs would go unmet. Worse yet, families would remain in the path of harm.
