YWCA Sonoma County is part of the larger, YWCA USA, the oldest and largest women’s movement, providing services for families in our community.

Programs of local associations like ours have furthered the YWCA USA vision of peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people since 1914. Over the past 108 years, programs have evolved and have included educational and employment classes for women, teen clubs, community dialogue groups to discuss race relations, child care centers, youth resource centers and mostly certainly domestic violence services.

We work to bring out the individual strengths of adults and children to foster resiliency and self-sufficiency. Our philosophy, in keeping with the original mission of the YWCA USA to empower women and families, centers on providing the skills and confidence needed for everyone to live healthy productive lives free from harm.

YWCA Sonoma County is dedicated to provide quality childcare and trauma informed counseling along with support for families impacted by domestic violence.
