Safe House is baby's first home

Dear Friend,

A child is born. An innocent, precious being at the beginning of her journey through life. Her name is Gabriella and her first home is YWCA’s confidential Safe House shelter. From the hospital, her mom has made the difficult decision not to return with her little one to the home where violence was a way of life.

Uplifted by one-on-one advocacy, resources and an endless supply of unconditional support from us, Gabriella’s mom thrives. Before we know it, “Gabby” is ready for learning at YWCA’s A Special Place Preschool where she excels at sandbox play and sharing.

Today, I am asking you to make a donation to YWCA for all the Gabriellas and their moms we will meet next year. Together, we can make a difference for families in very vulnerable circumstances asking for a chance at a better life.

With warmest regards,

Madeleine Keegan O’Connell
