Introducing YWCA’s newest initiative
designed to connect families in our care with housing:
Since 1975, YWCA Sonoma County has been the answer to the call from local families struggling with violence in the place they should feel most safe: inside their own homes. Our 24/7 crisis hotline, confidential safe house shelter, individual and family counseling services and our therapeutic preschool for at risk children surround the families in our care with much needed support and services.
Landlords who partner with us gain the following advantages:
Rapid Re-Housing Funding from HUD provides financial subsidies, tenants education and life skill resources to ensure a successful transition into their new home.
Eligible clients receive funds to cover the first three months of their rent. This allows clients time to stabilize and build an emergency fund for the future.
Our clients receive education in personal budgeting, understanding rental agreements, housekeeping and general apartment maintenance, being a good neighbor, etc.
Working with us gives you access to a pool of ready-to-rent tenants identified by YWCA.
By helping house our clients, you are playing an integral role in supporting individuals to take charge of their lives, while making your community a better place to live.
