The YWCA’s Community Advocacy Program Supports domestic violence victims… help is available.

Community help is available in a variety of ways:

Family Justice Center
The Family Justice Center Sonoma County empowers family violence victims to live free from violence and abuse by providing comprehensive services, centered on and around the victim, through a single point of access. The Family Justice Center serves victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, and sexual assault. On-site partners include: YWCA, Council on Aging, Inter Tribal Council, Legal Aid, Catholic Charities, Sonoma County’s DA office victim services, and Law Enforcement (FJCC Houses detectives from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s office and Santa Rosa Police Department).

YWCA Advocate

Our team members are easily reached by calling our 24/7 domestic violence crisis hotline at 546-1234. We offer safety planning, shelter and resources to victims of domestic violence and their family and friends who may call upon us for support.

SonomaWORKS

SonomaWORKS is the name of the CalWORKS program in Sonoma County. It is designed to help you find a job and become an advocate for your own self-sufficiency. Located at 2227 Capricorn Way, Suite 100 in Santa Rosa.

Family Justice Center Advocate

The FJC located at 2755 Mendocino Ave in Santa Rosa is open weekdays from 8:30 – 4:30 p.m. YWCA is proud to provide Navigators who meet with every victim seeking services at this location.
