YWCA Infant and Toddler Program opened November 2018 and is located conveniently between Monte Rio and Guerneville. This location is licensed for 17 toddlers in room one and four, and 10 infants in room two. Our program is open year round Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-5:30 pm.

I have lived in Monte Rio my whole life and attended the Monte Rio Elementary School where I was in the first graduating class at the new campus. I have been a teacher for STARS Preschool here in Monte Rio for going on 18 years. I started volunteering with STARS Preschool in 2002 the year my daughter enrolled in preschool. I fell in love with the children, staff and program. I started my courses at SRJC in 2003 from there I earned my associate teacher permit and have worked with STARS ever since. I am close to obtaining my Site Supervisor Permit and finally being done with college.
I still live here with my husband and three kids and many pets. My daughter has just had a son and made me a grandma and I love it!!!! I enjoy spending time with children, animals , family and friends and going to the ocean or down to the river on my free time.
