SITE SUPERVISOR: Paloma Escalante de Burrows
Miss Paloma is a graduate of El Molino High School and The Santa Rosa Junior College where she earned her Assistant Teacher and Teacher Certificate. She holds the Site Supervisor Permit issued by The State of California. Her career in childcare spans over two decades and it all began at age 11 when she served as a mother’s helper. Paloma has a son and daughter of her own, with whom she enjoys reading and exploring the great outdoors.
“We focus on learning each child’s language and teach them skills so they can communicate effectively. We do this because all children belong to our community.”
YWCA Preschool - Forestville opened August 2018 and is located on the Forestville Elementary School Campus. This location is licensed for 24 children, ages 2 to entry into 1st grade with both full day and half day preschool provided year round. We have positions available for both subsidized children and families who qualify as well as care for private pay families.
